I haven't yet done a post on my all-time favourite Australian artist: Margaret Olley. Her still lifes epitomise painting and art for me: they are beautiful and express her love for ordinary everyday scenes in and around the house and of ordinary objects. They have certainly had a huge impact on my paintings of still life.
